In language, it is very common to displace words with other meanings to rename the sexual organs, such as pussy (a cat), cock (a rooster), tits (Paridae, a large family of passerine birds), gash (a deep cut), kitty (a pet name for cat), dick ("fellow, lad, man," 1550s, rhyming nickname for Rick), and so on. But when we do this with the body, does it lose its erotic connotation or does it recreate the meaning of an image by incorporating into it the eroticism that sexuality carries?
